Overview
In this design one servo motor drives three autotransformers through a shaft and compatible gears. It is suited to installations where the supply is three phase and the load is balanced across all three phases.
Air-cooled three-phase stabilizers are available in 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 45, 50, 60, 75, 100, 125 and 150 kVA. Oil-cooled units are used where more than 50 kVA is required. Custom-built stabilizers can be made for your site.

- Output voltage accuracy usually +/-1% for input changes up to +/-50% (as stated on the previous website)
- Not unduly affected by power factor or frequency variation
- Capable of withstanding large inrush currents
